(in English) This study experimentally evaluated the estimation error of a method for estimating systolic blood pressure (SBP) from pulse transit time (PTT) derived using a near-field (NF) sensor and a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor. An SBP-PTT relationship was derived from two days of measurements on three male subjects and used to estimate SBP. The mean error of the proposed NF/PPG method was comparable to that of the conventional ECG/PPG method. The standard deviation and day-to-day variation of the estimation error differed among subjects.
