| 抄録 | （和） | 和音は，音楽聴取における感情の形成に重要な役割を果たす．そのため，和音と感情の関係について多くの検討が行われているが，個人差に着目した研究は少ない．そこで本研究では，5種類の主要な和音聴取時の情動反応に関わる個人差が神経活動の差異として現れると考え，この妥当性を脳波活動の計測と解析により検討した．その結果，前部帯状回（ACC）近傍領域のβ帯域において和音間で活動の差異が見られた．また，和音印象を構成する「刺激」因子と脳活動の間に強い相関関係が認められた．この因子は，Osgoodの3因子のうちActivity（活動性）との関係が示唆される因子であり，ACC近傍領域におけるβ帯域の活動は，和音印象を構成する本質的な評価次元の一つと対応した脳活動成分であることが示唆された．さらに，和音に対する，この脳波成分の活動レベルの違いが，和音印象の形式に係る個人差を説明する可能性も示唆された． |
| （英） | Chords play an important role in the formation of emotions during music listening. Accordingly, numerous studies have investigated the relationship between chords and emotions; however, relatively few have focused on individual differences. In this study, we hypothesized that individual differences in emotional responses to five types of fundamental chords would be reflected in differences in neural activity, and we examined this hypothesis through electroencephalographic (EEG) measurements and analyses. The results revealed differences in activity across chord types in the beta band of region near the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC). Furthermore, a strong correlation was observed between neural activity and the “excitement” factor constituting chord impressions. This factor is suggested to correspond to the Activity dimension in Osgood’s three-factor model, indicating that beta band activity in region near the ACC reflects a neural component associated with one of the fundamental evaluative dimensions underlying chord perception. Additionally, differences in the level of this EEG component across chords may account for individual differences in the perception of chord-related impressions. | |
