A content-aware file-identifying method

(in English) In order to begin a task, user must remember and search files necessary for the task, and these operations become his/her overheads. Moreover, with only icons and filenames, it may be difficult to judge whether the file is an expected one when searching for files. To solve these problems, we propose a content-aware information display method based on file types for identifying files, and evaluate the effectiveness. From the result of an experimentation, the method is effective for file types of document and image.
