Hardware/Software Development of Ground Penetrating Radar

(in English) In this paper present the development of an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) [1] for survey the multi-layer soil. The design feature includes mono cycle pulse generator [2], 3.6 gigasamples per second high-speed real-time data acquisition, high-speed volume data transfer and data storage, and a customized control element development in a field-programmable gate array (FPGA). Experiments with multilayer soil establish ground penetrating radar systems performance.
