The purpose of this study intended for a normal adult man and I used an optical topography device and measured the change of the quantity of oxyHb of the frontal lobe when I monotonous worked. And it was to examine whether you were different from work to perform in dominant hand in the change of the quantity of oxyHb by the work to perform in non-dominant hand. By this experiment, I adopted daily work to "cut paper with scissors" as monotonous work.
The task of this experiment was work to clip out a round figure of a radius of 7cm drawn on the central part of the A4 paper in dominant hand and non-dominant hand with scissors. As well as work to clip out the yen that was similar to this, I added the task that I clipped out while reading a sentence (a song of Japanese alphabet) shown in circumference of the round aloud to an experiment. I used two kinds of experiment tasks of the complexity work that added reading aloud to the simple work that cut a round figure and simple work. The paradigm of this experiment which rest 20s of the closed eyelid, monotonous work problem 20s, and rest 20s of the closed eyelid was done and each the dominant hand and non-dominant hand by four kinds of tasks of five sets was done to each subject. I had you carry out the trial of the experiment number of times of each 20 sets of subjects. Although it was not all the task all trials number of times, it was confirmed that I activated the frontal lobe. However, a meaningful difference was not seen in the brain activity with the work in the dominant hand and the work in the non-dominant hand. |
