In this paper, a multiband using circular loop and double U-shaped parasitic lines is presented. The antenna is designed on FR-4 substrate material with dielectric constant of 4.2. Return loss of the antenna is simulated by IE3D software. The simulation result is compared with measured return loss, which shows a good agreement between them. From the measurement, the antenna can be operated at 2.45 GHz, 3.5 GHz, and 5.2 GHz which cover WLAN (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g) and WiMAX IEEE 802.16a, respectively. |
