Writing is a cognitively demanding task that involves processes such as content ideation and expression refinement. While assistance from Large Language Models (LLMs) has become widespread, editing through conversational interfaces remains a burden as it requires users to verbalize specific instructions. This research proposes an interface that allows users to edit text simply by "murmuring" their thoughts out loud, without needing to organize them beforehand. This paper investigates the impact of our proposed interface on the cognitive load of text editing, the user experience during editing, and the user's self-perception of the resulting text, using the task of editing product descriptions as a case study. |
