Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Impedance measurement of sensors for electric field observation onboard scientific satellite is necessary to obtain the absolute intensity and phase of the electric field of plasma waves. The impedance of electric field sensors are calculated from response of impressed voltage signal to the sensors under condition of vanishingly weak external electric field. However, strong external electric field will affect the impedance measurement results. In this study, we will report statistical results about influence of the external electric field assumed as whistler mode waves on the impedance measurement. This result is obtained by satellite spin dependence of impedance measurement, and the result indicates that the influence of external electric field is not negligible for impedance measurement.
