A Compact Planar Bandpass Filter using Triangular Resonator

(in English) This paper proposes a second-order planar bandpass filter using a uniform-impedance triangular resonator with technical features of compactness and second-harmonic suppression. The dimension of filter is 33.243 mm x 23.243 mm and a suppressed band level is greater than 15 dB upto 3f0. Filter performance verified by an IE3D simulator is well agreed. The center frequency is 1.448 GHz, passband attenuation is 0.7054 dB, bandwidth is 80 MHz, attenuation at passband edges is greater than 55 dB, and return loss at passband is less than 24 dB.
