Effectiveness of two type e-learning courses, which consisted of asychronous and synchronous learning, were examined by learning achievement, questionaire and accessing log data. The performance was also compared with those using ordinal distance education system which is called PINE-NET.
As a result, there was no significant difference of the total achivement between e-learning and PINE-NET, and e-learning was dominant for some learning topics. Five factors were extracted from the questionaire by factor analysis. The scores of asynchronous learning were significant higer for communication and learning condition factors. Learning frequency and days for asyncronous learning were significantly more than the synchronous learning. |
