[Special Talk] A conversational robot understanding and expressing para-linguistic information

(in English) The conversational robots ROBITA and ROBISUKE, who recognize and generate paralinguistic information, are introduced. ROBITA expresses his internal states or extra-information using paralinguistic information. He utilizes the paralinguistic information to gain the awareness. ROBISUKE recognizes internal state of conversational partner by using paralinguistic information. With these functions, the rhythmic and natural conversation systems are achieved.
