Single-flux-quantum (SFQ) logic circuit operates below 1~K is a natural candidate for the interface between superconducting quantum-bits and room temperature electronics.
We develop a multi-chip module (MCM) system of quantum-bits and SFQ circuit to minimize the interference between modules and to enhance the design flexibility.
Although an SFQ circuit consumes very low power (typically below 1~mW), its thermal interference can be a significant prblem at very low temperature (below 100~mK).
In order to estimate the thermal properties of an MCM system, we are developping a Johnson noise thermometry system with dc SQUIDs. |
