(in English) The passive tag system of using UHF band has already been put in practical use in the EU and the US. Also in Japan, the passive tag system using of 950MHz band was put in practical use by revision of the Radio Law in April, 2005. In this paper, we introduce the newly developed Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader which suits the revision and report the correspondence to the amended spectrum mask, examination of receiving sensitivity, and methods of measurement and evaluation of the developed reader.
