In the HF-band PLC system, power feed line is used, but it is not usually used as a medium of the communication line. Therefore, it is important to evaluate transmission loss of the power feed line. We evaluated the transmission characteristics of power feed line by the moment method. Two metal wires of the power feed line are insulated with dielectric material. It is difficult to calculate transmission loss of such wire by simulation soft of the method of moment used here, and then we paid attention to propagation speed in a dielectric material. Therefore, we propose a modeling method based on the wavelengths shortening rate. The appearance of resonance frequency characteristics in the power line with the branch line can be improved. |
