(in English) Wavelength conversion, which can avoid wavelength contention, is a key technique for realizing effective utilization of wavelength resources and flexible network management in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) networks. Especially, all-optical wavelength conversion based on cascaded sum-frequency and difference-frequency generation (cSFG-DFG) with periodically poled Lithium Niobate (PPLN) waveguide can realize tunable wavelength conversion with high-speed, low noise, and high conversion efficiency. In this paper, we demonstrate all-optical wavelength conversion of 160 Gbit/s carrier-suppressed return-to-zero (CS-RZ) signals based on cSFG-DFG in a PPLN waveguide. We have achieved the error-free wavelength conversion of 160 Gbit/s CS-RZ signals.
