Approximation algorithms for the degree 3 terminal steiner tree problem with restricted weights

The steiner tree problem asks for a smallest tree spanning a given subset $R$ of distinguished vertices.
We consider a variation of the problem where the follow conditions are required for constracted tree $T$:
(i) all inner nodes are 3 degree,
(ii) $R$ $=$ the set of leaf.
We show a NP-completeness of this problem.
Next,We give two approximation algorithms.
We showed the approximation ratio of there algorithms are respectively $\frac{7}{4}$ and $\frac{25}{16}$. |
