In this paper, we measured radio propagation characteristics in urban area, using 2.5GHz and 5GHz bands, and compared characteristics of LOS/NLOS condition at each frequencies. In the inter-vehicle communication environment, the shadowing effect caused by the vehicles located between the transmitting and receiving vehicles becomes a serious degradation to the received power. Therefore, we performed during the daytime and the nighttime and evaluated the influence of surrounding vehicles. |
