In Bluetooth-Based WPAN(BT-WPAN), the selection of master and bridge nodes has a significant impact on the network lifetime. In this paper, we propose a BT-WPAN forming algorithm which is an improvement of the known method that find BT-WPAN topology with the least energy consumption, with added recomputation based on residual energy, and show that the network lifetime is extended drastically. |
