Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper proposes an information access method by extracting the topic chains across documents based on Narrativity Structure Model. At first, we define “term dependency matrix” and “term attractiveness vector”, which feature a scene that is a segment of the document and contains a topic. Then, similarity between scenes is calculated as cosine of the angle between term attractiveness vectors. And topic chain relations are found in the similarity. By using this method, the combinations of the scenes that have chain relations between the retrieval words are presented as retrieval results.
