Acoustic Analysis by Two-microphone Method at Three Points into the External Auditory Canal

(in English) In this report, an small acoustic intensity probe microphone (an array of three microphones: the lengths among microphones are 6.3mm,10.4m,and 16.7mm, the diameter is 4mm) using two-microphone method is developed. In order to measure the sound pressure, transfer function and impedance at external auditory canal, the probe microphone placed in 0mm, 10.4mm and 16.7mm deep to the entrance of external auditory canal. The probe microphone can measure three points at same time. From the results, it can be found that the transfer function, impedance at external auditory canal and sound pressure at external auditory canal can measure from the sound pressures between each microphone in external auditory canal. Consequently, it can be said that this microphone probe is effective for the measurement of acoustic characteristic in the external auditory canal and the sound pressures measured in the entrance of external auditory canal show the effects of individual differences in the shape of ear.
