Statistical-mechanical analysis of neural networks consisting of hysteresis neurons

(in English) In recent years, neural networks consisting of hysteresis neurons have been getting an important neural network model both theoretically and experimentally. The neural network consisting of hysteresis neurons have attractors that continuously depend on their initial states. In the present study, taking infinite range model as an example, we examined the mechanism how the hysteretic property of neurons generates continuous attractors by statistical-mechanical approach. We calculated the macro order parameter of the system form master equation and analyzed the equilibrium distribution and the stability of the fixed points. According to the result, we have found that the hysteretic property causes the system to strengthen the tendency to ferromagnetic behavior; on the other hand it causes the continuous region in which the relaxation time is very slow. These results shows that continuous attractors resulting from the hysteresis neurons are continuous fixed points that unchanged any more in the finite time within the continuous region in which the relaxation time is very slow.
