Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The neuronal spikes are irregular and unpredictable process, and can be regarded as a kind of the stochastic events.
By using the Bayesian estimation framework, we can reconstruct an underlying firing rate of a neuron from only a single sequence.
We apply the transfer matrix method to this Bayesian estimation framework.
By using the transfer matrix method, we can calculate a marginal distribution function exactly.
We investigate how a difference between the true hyperparameters and the model hyperparameters affects the results of the estimation and the marginal likelifood functoin.
