Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) OFDM is an attractive system for high spectral efficiency and capability of multipath fading compensation. In high-speed fading environments, however, channel tracking during the data period becomes a substantial technique to maintain good BER performance since channel change from the initial estimate using preamble symbols cannot be ignored. In this paper, we focus on the decision feedback channel tracking and propose a way to generate more accurate replicas by switching the decoder output based on a property of concatenated codes. In addition, we introduce a linear prediction method with two different techniques for the estimate of prediction coefficients. The simulation results show the effectiveness of these proposed methods under an IEEE 802.16e-OFDM model with 250 Hz and higher Doppler frequency.
