(in English) We address the problem of joint block diagonalization (JBD) of matrices on the orthogonal group. To solve this problem, we exploit the fact that submatrices in the orthogonal matrix are orthogonal to each other so as to reduce the dimension of each submatrix. Then the optimal submatrix is found one by one using eigenvalue decomposition. Moreover, we propose to swap columns in the matrix in order to avoid to fall into local extrema. Experimental results support the analysis.
