(in English) We are currently developing a Regional Protection System in Nagano.Prefecture Shiojiri City. In this system, terminals that children have regularly sent packets. The packets are then transmitted to a server via multi-hop network which is set up some transponders. Therefore, the position of children can be inferred from that information.
We are now improving the network protocol in the system with the aims of being useful for large-scale networks with numerous terminals and transponders. Especially, we deal with the network topology in which sent packets from terminals are received by multiple transponders and retransmit the packets from each transponder to the next transponder. In this research, we propose an access protocol which reduces the packet loss frequently occurs in transponders with the increase in the number of terminals, and then evaluate the effectiveness of those protocols via simulation.
