Computational Modeling of Human Adaptive Planning In Dynamic Environments

(in English) With our flexibility of behavior, we can act efficiently in surrounding environments. To understand process of the ability, in this study, we assumed the environments are dynamic, humans cannot keep their memories completely and do not plan their action sequence completely. We propose a model of human action sequence planning in the dynamic environments.
Our model has topdown and bottomup processes. The topdown process outputs a list of actions to achieve the task. On the other hand the bottomup process outputs a list of actions corresponding to the recognized objects. The adaptive planning is achieved as a combination of both processes. To evaluate our model, we simulated a coffee making task in a virtual dynamical world. The result showed that an agent with the proposed model acted more efficient and flexible than an agent without the bottomup process.
