Real-time Sharing of the Haptic Sensation Sensed in the Real-world

(in English) It is very difficult to sense same haptic sense at the same time, because haptic sense is sensed by direct contact with an object. However, Human communication will be enriched at the situation such as education or tele-communiccation if several persons can share same haptic sense. This report presents a novel system for sharing haptic sense sensed in the real-world. Proposed system consists of the two subsystems, one for measuring haptic sensation , and the another for representing measured haptic sensation. Three experiments are conducted for evaluating the ability of the proposed system. The experiments concluded that the proposed system achieves effective sharing of the haptic sensation sensed in the real-world.
