The relationship between initial phenomenon of the opening electrical contacts and the physical properties is not clear yet. In this paper, to clarify the contact voltage of the electrical contact, the steady contact voltage and the arrival time were measured at the slowly making silver palladium alloy contacts. And the relationship between AgPd content rate and the arrival time of the steady contact voltage was examined. In the results, the steady contact voltage correlated with the arrival time of the steady contact voltage, and the arrival time of the steady contact voltage correlated with the inverse of heat conductivity. It was demonstrated that the low resistivity materials have not only the low contact resistance but also the short arrival time of the steady contact resistance. |
