(in English) In this report, we propose and demonstrate a tunable optical dispersion compensator consisting of an arrayed-waveguide grating (AWG) and liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS). By exploiting the excellent optical characteristics of the AWG and flexible phase setting of the LCOS, we obtained a tuning range of ± 800 ps/nm with a bandwidth of 16 GHz. We also demonstrate the channel-by-channel chromatic dispersion compensation of six WDM channels by utilizing the multi channel property of the AWG and LCOS.
