Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have been studying the sensor network consisting of the sensor nodes, each of which device with a wireless communication and sensing function.
In this study, we aim at tracking moving devices in wireless sensor networks.
In wireless sensor networks, there is the case when measurable information is limited because of the reduction of the number of times of wireless communication for power-saving and sparse alignment of the sensor
nodes.
In this paper, we describe the simulation for tracking a moving device under the condition in which the communication state is stable and no obstacles exist.
In this simulation, various measurement periods are used and tracking precisions of the particle filter are estimated.
We also compute a mesurement period for keeping required tracking precisions and discuss lengthening measurement periods.
