Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) Helical carbon nanomaterials (HCNs) were formed on surface of LiCoO2 particles by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The amount of HCNs increased with an increase in amount of the raw material gas supply. The cells with HCNs showed specific capacities less than those of cells with acetylene black.
