Address system in a bypass network for the Internet

(in English) This paper describes an architecture and an addressing system of a connection-based network which exists in parallel to the Internet. The bypass-net transports IP packets bypassed from the Internet between bypass net subscribers. I-NIC (Intelligent Network Interface Card) in each terminal extracts bypass traffic from the Internet in cooperation with IN (Intelligent Network). IN notifies to the I-NIC whether the destination of the target packet subscribes into the bypass-net or not when DNS access happens. IP addresses of the packets on session are registered to the cache memory in I-NIC if the destination of the packets is a subscriber of the bypass-net. When IP address is found in the cache, the I-NIC modifies protocol of the target IP packet into that of the bypass-net, and transfers it to the bypass-net. The network uses delivery address corresponding to the bypass network topology. The address interpretation from the IP address is dynamically conducted in the IN. And thus packet forwarding processing can be simplified in the bypass-net.
