(in English) Generally, the ragne resolution of radar is lower than a target size.Therefore it is thought that reflected signal by the target is a vectorial sum of the reflected signal from each portion of target.In this case, even if the reflective intensity from some portions of target are large, the reflective intensity of the whole target becomes small under the influence of other portion of the same target.
Recently, the range resolution of radar becomes higher than the target size.Therefore it becomes possible to obtain the reflected signal from each portion(i.e. Range-Profile).We have already proposed the detection performance improvement algorithm by incoherent integration.However, the coherent integration using amplitude and phase information is expected to improve target detection performance than the incoherent integration.
In this paper, we propose the target detection performance improvement algorithm using coherent integration by applying the maximal ratio combining to Range-Profile.
