At present, a distributed control system that realizes more advanced work in real time is noted. And there are many researches to improve reliability of this system. We propose a reconfiguration method which inherits functions of failed PCs using calculation resource margin of other PCs. By applying to a distributed control system, we realize improvement of reliability without using standby PCs, and expect the effectiveness of a cost reduction. In this paper, we studied about the problem of an interface between controllers, sensors and actuators when we applied a reconfiguration method to a distributed control system. We designed an interface board and implemented it using an programmable device, such as FPGA/CPLD. It has functions of a reconfiguration method, such as a health-check of each controller. We report that we evaluated the performance of an implemented interface board using CPLD after we carried out computer simulations. |
