| (in English) | This paper describes pose estimation problems and rotation matrix estimation in computer vision. One pose estimation problem described here is registration of corresponding point sets $X,Y$, which estimates a rigid body transformation (in particular, a rotation matrix) that gives the best match between $X$ and $Y$. Another problem is a regression-based object pose estimation method, which estimates function $f$ that gives the estimates of pose parameters $\p$ for a given image $\x$. Estimating a rotation matrix is required for using rotation matrices as the pose parameters of three degrees-of-freedom pose. |
