A Requirements Analysis Method for Automotive Embedded Control Systems
Mitsuhiro Araki (Toyota Central R&D Labs.), Satoru Tanaka (Toyota Motor Corporation) CST2009-39
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In order to develop automotive embedded control systems with as little rework as possible, it is important to analyze requirements of the system. For the development, a requirements analysis method in a practice is preliminary design using prototyping. The authors interpret the best practice of the method from the viewpoint of goal-oriented requirements engineering, the major method of requirements analysis. Based on the interpretation, the authors propose the requirements analysis method in order to consistently associate general requirements of the system with specific and concrete requirements of the component of the system.
