Development of onboard software for plasma wave instruments by MMO spacecraft.

(in English) BepiColombo is a collaborative project between Japan and Europe to explore Mercury. MMO(Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter) is one of the spacecraft of the project and it aims to investigate Mercury's magnetosphere. PWI(Plasma Wave Investigation) is one of the scientific instruments onboard the MMO and it measures both electric and magnetic wave fields. Onboard software for the PWI is required to have adaptive observation modes and advanced data processing functions with limited CPU power, memory and transmission data capacity. In the presentation, we report current status of the design of onboard software for the PWI, especially on the estimation of CPU load and memory consumption required for high-precision spectrum analysis.
