(in English) This paper reports the result of design and development of Server Certificate Issuance Assistant system aiding the automation of certification process, based on the knowledge of former server certificate project operated from FY 2007 to FY2008 by National Institute of Informatics. From FY2009, NII launched UPKI Open-Domain Certificate Project as the successor of former Server Certificate Project, and is evaulating efficacy of the system.
