Research on automatic lost article detection by analyzing human's walking locus

(in English) A lot of rescue robots that aim at the man support work are researched now. The disaster scene active of the rescue robot is important in the rescue in a short time. At this time, if it can be achieved result of analysis sky image such as helicopters cooperate with the mobile robot, it becomes limited of the search place, and a large effect such as shortening the rescue time can be expected. In this tutorial paper, lost article search using the ceiling image and a mobile robot as an example of the cooperation of the upper image and the mobile robot. This paper proposal applies the mean-shift method to all directions camera, and records the flow of the individual person. Next, the mobile robot was made for search for the vicinity of the recorded person flow tracks, and the lost article was made to be discovered. Experimental result in indoor environment have shown the effectiveness of the proposed method.
