Estimation of Outdoor Three-Dimensional Structure using a Single Camera

(in English) There are a lot of estimation methods that estimate three-dimensional structure using images from multiple viewpoints. But, these methods need exact positions of all viewpoints. Understanding exact positions of all viewpoints is difficult in wide spaces such the outdoors. This paper proposes an estimation method that estimates three-dimensional structure using outdoor images taken a single fixed camera.
The proposed method is based on moving of sun and shadows. The method needs shaded area in images. This paper proposes the estimation method that estimates shaded area in images using changes in brightness in one point of observation images due to changes in time. The proposed method that estimates three-dimensional structure uses shaded area estimated by proposed method.
