After the Wideband InterNetworking engineering test and Demonstration Satellite “KIZUNA” (WINDS) was launched, many basic experiments and application experiments had been carrying out . The some experiments are planned in the Asia Pacific region, where is covered by the Active Phased Array Antenna (APAA), which is installed in WINDS. To carry out the WINDS experiments form the Asia-Pacific region easily, National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) and Japan Space Exploration Agency (JAXA) were jointly developed the variable data rate TDMA system using WINDS bent-pipe TDMA mode. |
