| 抄録 | （和） | Reduplication represents a great challenge for traditional generative accounts. My proposal develops an explanation of this varied phenomenon making use of a model of grammar テ? la Jackendoff (2002). Reduplication is said to be the doubling of a morphological category. 1. Japanese hore-bore 窶惑all in love, fondly窶 Concerning repetitions, my work will show that semantics triggers the iteration of phrases, giving rise to iconic meanings. 2. Italian bello bello 窶蕨ice, very nice窶 Then, syntactic formation rules are the real derivative engine, and the output is reduplication proper. Finally, phonology triggers reduplication of phonological units resulting however in derivational processes. |
