| (in English) | The authors have proposed a collision judgment protocol for Pedestrian-Vehicular Collision Avoidance Support System (P-VCASS) which developed VCASS. However, the former P-VCASS did not consider the power limitation of pedestrian terminals. In this paper, we propose a new collision judgment which is used for the position estimation more appropriate to P-VCASS. By using this algorithm, it is able to judge that a pedestrian is going to cause a collision or not. If the system estimates the possible collision, pedestrian terminals will send warming messages to nearby vehicles. We show the validity of the proposed system by experiments using some vehicles. | |
