The purpose of this study is aimed to develop a one-chip multichannel taste sensor chip. The lipid membranes have taste response characteristics, membrane potential, and can detect tastes. The fabricated sensor chip was consisted of Ti/Ag patterning electrode on the substrate (poly carbonate), a double-faced adhesive tape (polyimide) and a partition (poly carbonate). The sensor chip has multichannel electrodes with electrolyte membrane and lipid membranes. The fabricated sensor chip was evaluated the sensor performance for taste detection. The values of membrane potential and potential response to taste substrates were stationary (n = 20, CV < 6 %). Thus, it was indicated that the fabricated one-chip multichannel taste sensor tip has sensor performances similar to the conventional taste sensor electrodes. |
