A Study on DS-UWB Radar Systems for Vehicle Platooning

(in English) In recent years, ultra wide band (UWB) system has much attention as vehicular radar. It were reported that ranging performance and processing time in DS-UWB vehicular radar using variable length of spreading codes. We are here concerned with vehicle stability control using this system. For example, the control of instability at short vehicular distance is very dangerous. In this paper, we propose a novel DS-UWB Radar system for vehicle stability control. The proposal is evaluated by computer simulations.
