Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we propose an acceleration method for multiple moving sound source tracking using particle filter. The particle filter requires the likelihood function for deciding particle's states. Then, there exists a tradeoff between the computational cost and the estimation accuracy. In this method, the MUSIC spectrum function is used as the likelihood function, and the PAST algorithm is applied for accelerating the signal subspace estimation instead of the eigen-decomposition of the correlation matrix. Several experimental results in actual environments show that the method can achieve the low computational time and the high estimation accuracy.
