(in English) This paper describes improvement of image processing for the M-CubITS pedestrian WYSIWYAS navigation system using interlocking blocks and performance evaluations. The proposed method includes recursive border detection based on the block width, border emphasis, and recursive border detection based on the block length. The performance of the proposed method is compared with that of the conventional method in several conditions. Results show that the proposed method is robuster than the conventional method in the various conditions. It is shown that the proposed method is effective.
