In this paper, we paid attention to two pairs of the combinations of the twist pitches of the twisted-pair cable in the crosstalk between twisted-pair cables. We propose the method for predicting characteristic of crosstalk between twisted pair cables by local coupling model on the transmission line at inequitable intervals. It is shown to cause a big peak in the near end crosstalk by using this model in the GHz frequency. We evaluated the crosstalk characteristic by using an actual twisted-pair cable. As a result, we confirmed the peak frequency of crosstalk was predictable by the proposal technique. |
