A Study of Network Information Extraction using Deep Packet Inspection

(in English) With the explosive growth of traffic and users in the networks, capital investment is important issue for network infrastructure in order to accommodate required huge bandwidth. On the other hand, the growth of nominal GDP for information services like Web services is rapidly increasing as compared with the conventional fixed communication services in recent years. Information communication network is key infrastructure for the basis of current network society, and it is considered important issue to change the network as value creation platform in order to evolve sustainably for the future network society. So far, we propose a network service platform which can offer valuable network information for network service providers by analyzing, storing and extracting a flow of contents in the networks. In this paper, we propose a content extraction method using deep packet inspection (DPI) and network service platform which can use the content flow information for new network services. Also, we report the prototype system and its evaluation results.
