(in English) This paper describes novel MEMS tunable band-pass filters, which operate at the K and S bands, feature extremely low insertion loss, small size, and wide continuous tuning range. The tunable filters are based on
MEMS-varactors-loaded microstrip resonators and have been directly constructed on a high-k low-temperature-co-fired-ceramics (LTCC) wiring wafer using MEMS-on-LTCC technology, which allows the use of high-k
materials as the filter substrate, enabling a small size and low insertion loss.
